Founder & Principal Consultant

KACE Consultants was founded by Kenneth Chai who has had a successful career in corporate management that spanned over twenty years. He holds an MBA (Finance) from the University of Leicester and is a specialist in various facets of corporate management including corporate planning and strategy, corporate finance, corporate affairs and branding, corporate communication and stakeholder engagement, corporate governance and compliance, and strategic marketing.

Kenneth is an experienced ListCo board of director with chairman experience. He had served as the Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Annum Berhad and an Independent Non-Executive Director of Ageson Berhad. He currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Evergreen Max Cash Capital Berhad. All three companies are listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

Kenneth is also a global Ambassador of the International Coaching Federation Foundation, a member of the International Coaching Federation (USA), a member of the International Coaching Federation Malaysia Charter Chapter, a member of the Institute of Certified Sustainability Practitioners and a former member of the Malaysian Estate Owners' Association.

As a multi-faceted leader passionate about sustainability and social impact, Kenneth focuses on emotional intelligence and leadership development aimed at cultivating leaders who champion sustainable practices and drive positive impact.

As a coach and facilitator, Kenneth is passionate about facilitating executive, leadership and personal development and transformation so that people become better versions of themselves at their workplaces and in their personal lives. Specialising in emotional intelligence and human behaviour, Kenneth shapes emotionally intelligent future leaders, develops leaders to lead with emotional intelligence, and helps people connect better with others and achieve their desired results. Kenneth also specialises in helping executives and leaders perform better by successfully navigating the intricacies of corporate life.

Kenneth is also a Professional Certified Coach credentialed by the International Coaching Federation, Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialist and Certified Sustainability Practitioner credentialed by the Institute of Certified Sustainability Practitioners, HRD Corp Accredited Trainer, NCS Certified Trainer, Certified Virtual LearnCaster, Genos Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, Genos Certified Leading With Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, DISC Certified Trainer and NLP Practitioner.

Outside of his professional life, Kenneth is a happy family-man, a doting father of two lovely children, a supportive husband and a grateful son. He works out religiously at the gym, doing both weight training and cardio. He enjoys wine and he is ever ready to try a new label.

Kenneth is grateful that his experiences have made him who he is today- motivated high-achiever, strategic thinker and planner, nurturing and compassionate coach, effective communicator, positive thinker and motivator, and creative change agent. In the spirit of giving back, he is passionate about generously sharing his knowledge and experience with leaders and their organisations.
